Biography

 

Cher Santiago

 

is a multi-talented actress whose credits span from film and television, to theatre. She is a Lead in the film The Roe Effect that has toured many festivals, including the 2010 Festival De Cannes, and is currently airing on HBO until 2012, after winning the HBO Short Film Award at the 2010 American Black Film Festival.  In addition, The Roe Effect won the festival prize at UrbanWorld Film Festival in NYC, and was nominated for a Black Reel Award for ‘Best Independent Mini-Feature’.  Her talented beauty has landed her recurring roles on One Life to Live opposite Michael Easton, as well as All My Children opposite David Canary, Vincent Irizarry and Ricky Goldin. She also had the opportunity to work with Aleta Chappelle on her documentary Harlem Children’s Theater.

 

On stage, Cher has captivated audiences at Theatre Row, The Barrow Group, and The Algonquin. She is a proud company member of Workshop Theatre Company.

 

In the world of commercial and print she has had success booking work for Berkley College, EZ Clear, Yahoo, Nooka Watches, Timex, US Bank, W Beauty, Ricoh, RJO Group and Con-Edison.
